About You

We are going a step further and building a international supporting team.  With your experience, eagerness to learn and passion for problem-solving, you will be working closely with different teams and key stakeholders across the organization to support our CFO to manage our compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: analysis of actual performance and budget/forecast in close collaboration with CFO and Business Analyst
  • Further development of financial plans and scenarios to enable sensitivity analyses of the business
  • Create and automate reports for management, banks and other stakeholders
  • Improvement (in particular automation of processes) of KPI calculation and analysis
  • Contribute to further improve the data quality of accounting and integration between accounting tools and controlling. 
  • Support French Accounting team during annual closing of financial accounts and collaborate closely with external accountants for our entities in USA, Asia, Europe and Australia. 
  • Prepare and follow-up on applications and reports of grants and subsidies
  • Support our fundraising activities
  • Participate in Cashflow management

Your Profile

  • Business degree with a focus on finance and controlling, and ideally in accounting (or equivalent)
  • At least three years of experience working in Finance (and ideally in Accounting)
  • High affinity with digital financial tools, familiarity with our tools (Spendesk, Datev, Xero, Gusto etc.) would be a plus
  • Strong modeling skills and agility with financial concepts
  • Strong analytical and entrepreneurial thinking skills as well as a hands-on mentality
  • Team player with ability to handle pressure and go to the last mile when needed
  • Personal interest for the social impact environment
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and German, French would be a plus
